Something a Little Different - Altered Tea Cup

Hi There,

Here I am on day 4 and still blogging. I am so determined but really need your help to get some followers, so if you are visiting and like what you see please recommend me to your friends.

Tonight I am sharing something a little different.

What do you do with the bits and bobs of vintage tea sets your Mum's and Grannies have left?

Not the best picture (I really need to take more care of my layouts) but here is one of the little cups I took from the clear out at Mum's

A chain, some findings and a couple of blobs of UHU Glue

A here is is a hanging plant holder that can be used inside or out

I just need to find a little plant now and the Tea Cup planter will be complete and compliments most decor around the home.

Oh well that's me for tonight, we have just had a lovely meal out and I am stuffed so need to slob in my PJ's.

Take care

Riding Along on a Bicycle

Well today has been another day of sorting at Mum's house. We are absolutely shattered. Who said Bank Holiday weekends were relaxing?

On a crafting note a lot of the stash I use are freebies from magazines. I find the freebies are worth so much more so buy loads of magazines I don't read just for the amazing craft bits and bobs you get.

Here are a couple of cards I made ages ago for you to have a look at. The stamp was from Hobby Craft and the papers were a freebie on a magazine.

I used Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Garland dies to make to flowers. I find these so versatile and perfect for the Shabby Chic look

Same stamp here but the papers are more playful and modern.

I am going to make something really different tonight so watch this space I will share tomorrow

Take care and enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow

Bedroom Wall Art

Hi All,

What a busy day it has been today. My Mum is moving to an apartment soon from a four bedroom house so we have been sorting out what she will need and what we had to get rid of. The charity shops think it is Christmas with all the lovely things we have dropped off. There is a skip on the drive that is overflowing. It is all very bitter sweet really there are so many memories.

Today I thought I would show you some wall art I have made for our bedroom.
I made these using large cardboard letters and used decoupage papers from Deco Mache. I bought them all from Hobby Craft. I then mounted the letters on photo frames from B&M and added die cut embellishments. I am really pleased with how they have turned out.

I will sign off now as I am going to have a very much earned glass of wine.

Take care

I'm Back

Well here I am again after over 2 and a half years giving blogging another go, thanks to Linda Simpson and trying to remember what to do.
I have continued to craft on a daily basis and will do so forever.......
So what has happened in the time I have been away? Well I now have a second Grandson, my gorgeous, funny and cute little Isaac. I have had my house renovated and have a lovely little crafting area under the stairs in our open plan living room. Oh and my oldest daughter got married.
I am still working full time and still love it as I have lovely friends in work and I still love socialising.
So all in all apart from Isaac being born and Jeni getting married things are still the same!

Anyways let me share some of my makes with you.

Hope you like them. Stay tuned as I will be posting again tomorrow

Take Care
