Something a little bit different for you today. I love the monoliths from Visible Image and am sure I shared a couple of Christmas ones I made in December.
Last night I came across some MDF cogs that I had bought at a craft fair yonks ago and really wanted to make something with them. So a lot of cogitating later a light bulb moment materialised, the result being a steampunk monolith.
Along with the MDF monolith, heart and Cogs I used:
- Tim Holtz and Docrafts spritzing inks in gold, silver, turquoise and black
- Red Promarker to colour the heart and covered in Tim Holtz distress crackle paint
- Artful Days angel wings and brass embellishment
- Graphic 45 sentiment tags from the Typography range
I love how it has worked out and really hope you do too.
